I haven’t tried the game on PS Pro, but if it runs smoother on that now too, then great.īottom line, combat is way more fun when this game is smooth. Playing it on a 4K tv with performance mode activated makes it smooth (targets 60 but sometimes dips) and it looks fucking gorgeous. I honestly think that Witcher 3 is THE killer app for 1X. My PC isn’t beefy enough to run it smoothly, so I eventually went with the Xbox 1X version of this game. Playing this on launch PS4 back in 2015 I found it too choppy- combat couldn’t click for me. I mean, obviously that’s always the hope, but for this game specifically, I think the combat really, really suffers if the game isn’t smooth. So yeah, here are the tips I have for enjoying the game:ġ.
